Portland Here I Come...

So if you haven’t noticed, next week is Thanksgiving already!  I am going to head up to Portland, OR from the Bay Area to visit my family.  Driving up to Portland is always a long drive but a lot of fun if you haven’t done it.  My favorite place to stop is Weed, CA because it is so unbelievably beautiful.  So yeah it definitely has an unfortunate name but as far as names go, I think “Pansy Kidd Middle School” has it beat.  Seriously it was on Diggnation a few episodes ago and here is proof.

Anyway Weed is literally at the base of Black Bute and as the picture above shows it is practically also at the base of Mt. Shasta.  Every time I go I stop at the Subway and get gas (same complex) so hopefully I’ll time things right to eat there.  The Subway has a great view of the mountains and where else can you get an Italian BMT and a great view?  Laura, I think my gas station might just beat your gas station.    Crystal Geiser water is bottled in Weed, CA too which is another random Jeremy fact for you.  When I go I will take lots of pictures (you know me).
