According to Wikipedia, Randy Pusch is a Professor of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University and in 2006 was diagnosed with metastatic pancreatic cancer.  Doctors informed him it in 2007 spread to his liver and spleen and doctors estimaged he would remain healthy for another three to six months.  What to do?  Give you “last lecture”.  If you haven’t seen it on YouTube you can view it here.

Did you catch 60 Minutes last night? John Kanzius is a man who isn’t a doctor and doesn’t have a college degree but thinking outside the box with his radio wave experience one night invented a cancer fighting machine. The amazing part is so far it looks like it may actually work and there are no side affects to the treatment with his machine. He has cancer and he wants to some day be the first human to test it to show the world that it will work. You have to see this one.

The San Francisco Creamery in Walnut Creek is my favorite ice cream shop.  You should check it out if you are in the Bay Area.
