An embarrassing song to admit I like but when has that ever stopped me?

Heard this on Turntable.fm the other night.  What do you think?  I thought it was certainly unique…

My favorite band ever. My parents wouldn’t let me buy the tape because of the band’s name (and yes I’m that old…when there were cassette tapes…no MP3s…no streaming). Since I couldn’t buy it I went across the street and listened to it at my best friend Rob’s house. I was such a rebel. Oh and yes we listened to Poison too, I still love me some Poison. Hi Mom…you’re the best. When I bought the CD after “growing up” and was able to listen to whatever I wanted and I literally played it so many times it stopped working. Every night after getting off work I would drive home with that CD in. Oh and I had a Ford Probe as my second car. Unfortunate name for a car but I upgraded the speakers, put in a killer amp, and oh it was just amazing. I sometimes miss that car.

Thanks to @BrentMC79 I was able to get into Turntable.fm tonight. Wow, that is a seriously addicting and awesome site! Heard this song in one of the dubstep rooms and loved it.

I was listening to Pandora yesterday and after hearing this song again remembered how much I liked it.

This is one of those songs I keep listening to over, and over, and over.  If you are coding, writing, thinking, try putting on some headphones and listening to this and then work on your problem.  Corny I know but listening to songs like this change how you approach problems.

Mr. Watkins introduced me to this song today as I was trying out his new headphones.  Great song (beat, style, etc)…any other recommendations out there?

I heard this song the other night while Christina and I were talking in a coffee shop (yes I was listening to her).  I love 80′s rock which is how I would describe this song so I had to Shazam this when I heard it come on.

I got this CD for my dad on Amazon for Christmas this year and I discovered Paul Cardall’s songs via Pithos.  The whole CD sounds good from the sound bites but the two songs embedded below are my favorites (I had to buy them for myself).  My dad doesn’t read my blog unless I send him a link to a specific post but other family members do so you’ll have to keep this one a secret for me until Santa delivers it to him.  The older I get the more I’m turning into my father!  See, you never know what you are going to get when you come to my blog.  Wait, I’m either turning into my father or Forrest Gump!
