I’ve decided to keep a dream log/blog and you the world can help me decipher each dream. Has anyone ever done this? I find dreams fascinating. The interesting thing is they make sense when you first write them down but then when you go back and look at them they seem very odd don’t they? My all time favorite dream is when I was suddenly able to fly. I flew over Disneyland (I was a kid) and flew through the Matterhorn. I woke up and I had fallen asleep in front of a fan. I’ve had lots of dreams as a kid that I have fallen down a cliff or ledge (has been years since I’ve had that dream). I’ve had reoccurring dreams and again as I kid I had lots of dreams of chasing the school bus because I was late to the bus stop. Even as an adult I still have dreams I didn’t study hard enough or didn’t’ get enough time to study for a test. I’d say I have more dreams than nightmares (90% are dreams and 10% nightmares). I also think I tend to dream more after going through something traumatic or during a stressful time. Have you noticed any patterns in how you dream?
November 11th:
- Video arcades were in my dream last night several times.
- I was walking down a path and it was raining really hard. There were boards covering the walkway that let the rain through. As much as I kept trying to get out of the rain I couldn’t.

WordCount™ is an artistic experiment in the way we use language. It presents the 86,800 most frequently used English words, ranked in order of commonness. Each word is scaled to reflect its frequency relative to the words that precede and follow it, giving a visual barometer of relevance. The larger the word, the more we use it. The smaller the word, the more uncommon it is. For instance if the word Jeremy was in a popularity contest I would be ranked #7,521.
Check out some of the following I’ve tried:
- The = #1
- Me = #72
- God = #376
- Safeway = #22,415
- California = #4024
- Illinois = #21,125 (for Jill)
- Dog = #1276
- Cat = #2,532
- Man = #142
- Woman = #393
- His = #27
- Her= #36
- Love = #383
- Hate = #3,107
- Basketball = #19,433
- Baseball = #12,548
- Live = 561
- Die = 1,840

Kevin Rose released this picture the other night of an old sketchbook he “dugg out” (haha couldn’t help myself) of some initial Digg designs and ideas. Where do you keep your ideas?
