Went to see District 9 this afternoon and I can’t tell you the last time I’ve seen two movies in one week, let alone a weekend.  The movie was strange, just really strange and slightly boring.  I won’t ruin anything by telling you it is basically about an alien ship that is broke down above a city, millions of aliens come out of it, and the humans control them by putting them in a camp called “District 9″.  The aliens are mistreated, this guy from some alien company gets splattered with some alien goo which starts to turn him into an alien which allows him to use their weapons.  If you like aliens, lots of violence, graphic scenes of people puking, blood, and skin falling off, this movie is for you.  Good special effects but I give it 4 out of 10 stars.
